Agents in Production: How HealthTech Leaders Scale and Govern Agentic AI

Agentic AI is moving beyond experimentation in HealthTech. Across clinical documentation, prior authorization, member engagement, and other workflows, HealthTech companies are demonstrating what agents can do. But proving an agent works in a pilot is very different from running it reliably at scale.

As agents begin to act on behalf of clinicians, members, and healthcare organizations, HealthTech leaders face a new set of questions spanning performance, economics, and governance. The challenge is no longer simply whether agents belong in the product, but how to build, deploy and govern them in a way that earns the trust of customers.

Hosted by HLTH in partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS), this invite-only Insider session will bring together senior HealthTech leaders for a candid, peer-to-peer conversation on taking agentic AI from pilot to production. Following a short opening fireside chat with AWS and HealthTech leaders, participants will break into smaller groups to compare approaches, challenges, and lessons learned from deploying agents in real-world environments.

The conversation will explore:

• What separates agent pilots that reach production from those that stall.

• How organizations are governing agents once they go live, including human oversight, auditability, and responsible AI.

• Building the data foundations agents need to perform at scale. 

• Build-versus-buy decisions, and what it takes to earn trust when agents become part of the patient, member, or clinician experience.

This session is designed for senior leaders at HealthTech companies that build for providers, payers and life sciences organizations, including those working across revenue cycle, care management, clinical documentation and member engagement platforms.
